
It is well known that there are many kinds of Antioxidants, let's briefly introduce the common types of antioxidants as follows:
1. Antioxidant 1010
tetramethyl pentaerythritol: white powder, Melting point 119-123℃, mainly used in PP、PA、ABS. The dosage is 0.1-0.5%, usually used with auxiliary antioxidants such as DLTP or DSTP, the ratio of main to auxiliary is 1:3, It can save the dosage of main antioxidant.
2. Antioxidant 1076
Octadecanol propionate: white granule, melting point 49~55℃, no pollution, no coloring, small volatility; good thermal stability, antioxidant effect is slightly lower than antioxidant 1010. Suitable for PE、PP、PS、ABS、PMMA、PA、PVC and so on. The dosage is 0.1~0.5%, low toxicity.
3. Antioxidant 264
Also named BHT,2,6 tert-butyl p-cresol: white crystalline powder, yellowing in light, melting point 70℃, easy to dissolve in benzene, alcohol, acetone, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, fat, insoluble in water and diluent. Non-toxic, can be used for PE、PS、ABS、PVC, the dosage is 0.5~2%, no coloring, no pollution, tasteless.
4. Antioxidant CA(TCA)
1,1,3,(2 methyl 4-hydroxy-5 tert-butylbenzene ~ group) butane; White crystalline powder, melting point 185~188℃, low toxicity, low volatility, no pollution, good heat resistance, excellent oxidation resistance and inhibition of copper ion catalytic oxidation. Suitable for insulation layer of copper cable wire in PE、PP、PVC, the dosage is 0.1~1%.
5. Antioxidant 2246(MMB)
Melting point 130~132℃, low toxicity.
6. Bisphenol A、 Bisphenol C、 are inefficient antioxidants.
7. Antioxidant 702
Light yellow powder, melting point is 156℃, boiling point is 250℃, low toxicity, molecular weight 424.7, dosage is 0.1~2%, dosage 0.4 when used in PP, and auxiliary pit oxygen agent with good effect
8. Antioxidant 300
White to light gray powder, Molecular weight 358.9, Melting point is more than 150℃, decomposition temperature 250℃, Water 1%, Fineness 50 mesh, The specific gravity is 1.06-1.12. Low toxicity, Add less than 0.6% when used in PS food packaging material, and add less than 0.3% at PE、PP、PVC, other available ABS、PA、PET、EP、PU etc.
9. Antioxidant DNP
Benyl p-phenylenediamine, an amine antioxidant, light gray powder, melting point 235℃, toxic. Used to PP、chlorinated polyether , the dosage is 0.1~1%.
10. Antioxidant E
Diphenyl p-phenylenediamine, also is an amine antioxidant, melting point is 152℃ and is toxic. Mainly used in PE,PA, the dosage is 0.1~0.3%.
11. Other phenolic antioxidants: Antioxidant 330, trimethylbenzene, melting point 200℃; Antioxidant MEB; Antioxidant HBP; Antioxidant TBM and so on.
12. Other amine antioxidants :1:4 hydroxy dodecanoic acid actianiline (hlb)4 hydroxy octadecanoic acid actianiline (hss) and so on
